Primeur voor Visoiu in Valencia, ook Daly succesvol

Robert Visoiu heeft dit weekend voor het eerst een GP3-race op zijn naam geschreven. De 17-jarige Roemeen kwam in de tweede wedstrijd van het losse GP3-weekend op het circuit van Valencia als eerste over de meet. Aaro Vainio en Carlos Sainz junior vergezelden hem op het podium.

In de eerste race was Conor Daly de beste. De Amerikaan troefde Facu Regalia af en kloofde een groot deel van zijn achterstand op leider in het kampioenschap Tio Ellinas af. Ellinas staat na Valencia op 55 punten, Daly volgt met 51 punten.
