Weer twee nieuwe winnaars met Regalia en McKee

De GP3 is dit seizoen een broedplaats voor nieuwe winnaars. In Duitsland was het de beurt aan Facu Regalia en Melville McKee om hun eerste overwinning in de klasse te behalen. Regalia triomfeerde op zaterdag, McKee op zondag.

Door al die verschillende winnaars is Tio Ellinas nog altijd de leider in de tussenstand. De Cyprioot kwam in race 1 op de Nürburgring als tweede over de streep en hij sprokkelde ook in race 2 nog wat puntjes. Daardoor staat hij nu op 91 punten.

Regalia is dankzij 31 punten door zijn winst, pole position plus snelste ronde in de eerste wedstrijd opgeschoven naar plek twee, met 72 punten. Kevin Korjus ging met lege handen naar huis, maar bezet nog wel de derde plaats met 59 punten.
