Trident reserveert in Abu Dhabi een auto voor Cregan

Trident Racing gunt Richard Cregan deelname aan het finaleweekend van de GP3 Series in Abu Dhabi. De 24-jarige Ier stond een jaar geleden voor het laatst aan de start van een GP3-race. Op Yas Marina Circuit is hij teamgenoot van Emanuele Zonzini en Giovanni Venturini.

Cregan: "Ik ben heel blij om dit weekend te racen voor Trident Racing. Het is allemaal vrij laat tot stand gekomen, maar het moet toch mogelijk zijn om een goed resultaat te behalen. Ik heb niet meer geracet sinds de laatste wedstrijd van het GP3-seizoen 2012, in Monza, dus ik sta te popelen om in de auto te springen. Ik heb de GP3 gevolgd en het is een competitief veld. De wagen is ook nieuw, dus het is een grote uitdaging, maar ik kijk ernaar uit!"
