Alice Powell vervangt McKee bij Bamboo Engineering

Alice Powell keert in Abu Dhabi terug op de startopstelling in de GP3. De 20-jarige Britse neemt bij Bamboo Engineering de plek over van Melville McKee. Powell was vorig jaar al actief in de GP3. Dit seizoen was ze te bewonderen in de Britse Formule 3 Cup.

Powell: "Ik verheug me echt op Abu Dhabi en mijn hernieuwde kennismaking met de GP3. De auto is anders dan het materiaal waar ik vorig jaar mee reed, dus het zal wat tijd vergen om te wennen aan de wagen en de banden. Maar ik kan niet wachten en ga sowieso alles geven!"
