Rinus van Kalmthout gaat 'los' op helmdesign voor 2021

Rinus van Kalmthout heeft zijn helm voor het komende IndyCar-seizoen getoond. De Nederlander, uitkomend voor Ed Carpenter Racing, is overgestapt naar helmenleverancier Bell en heeft weer gekozen voor een overwegend oranje helm, met op de achterkant de vlag van Nederland. Die Nederlandse driekleur is wel in stukjes gehakt. Of zoals Van Kalmthout het zelf zegt: "Daar ben ik een beetje los gegaan met het ontwerp."

En passant was Van Kalmthout de snelste van twaalf coureurs tijdens een testdag op het circuit van Barber Motorsports Park.
