Dallara verlengt contract voor leveren chassis

IndyCar heeft zijn contract met de Italiaanse racewagenbouwer Dallara verlengt voor het leveren van het chassis voor de Amerikaanse tegenhanger van de Formule 1. Hoe lang de nieuwe overeenkomst duurt, heeft de organisatie nog niet bekend gemaakt.

“Dallara is een geweldige partner en bijzonder belangrijk voor alles dat op het circuit gebeurt,” zegt IndyCar-directeur Jay Frye. “Een belangrijk deel van de succes en de groei van de NTT IndyCar Series is een direct gevolg van Dallara’s samenwerking met het volledige paddock. Deze verlenging biedt IndyCar en zijn teams continuïteit en een stabiel platform met oog op de toekomst.”

Dallara is sinds 1997 al verbonden met de IndyCar. Naast de hoogste Amerikaanse autosportklasse, produceert het racemerk ook het chassis voor de Formule 2, Formule 3 en IndyLights.
