Tussen al het F1-geweld gaat de IndyCar los op de oval van Iowa Speedway op zowel de zaterdag en zondag.

Om alvast in de stemming te komen zie de spectaculaire video hieronder. Op de beelden is te zien dat ovalracen niet zomaar vier keer linksaf is, maar ook waanzinnige inhaalacties oplevert.

Ovals zijn misschien in de Nascar truckseries volgas, en een beetje naar links...

Maar sinds de aerokits weg zijn uit indycar ben ik ovals weer gaan waarderen. Daarbij vind ik short-ovals meer tactische spellen highspeed ovals meer set-up races.
