Frédéric Vervisch opgeroepen als vervanger voor James Walker

Frédéric Vervisch zal komend weekend zijn debuut maken in de Superleague Formula. De Belg zal bij het team van Liverpool FC de Brit James Walker vervangen. Het zal de eerste keer zijn dat Vervisch in een Superleague-bolide gaat rijden.

"Ik ben echt erg blij met deze kans", vertelde Vervisch, die vorig jaar nog in Amerika reed. "Ik ben ook het team erg dankbaar dat ik kennis mag maken met deze geweldige auto's. Het zal de meest krachtige auto zijn waarmee ik ooit heb gereden. Het wordt niet makkelijk om meteen op een moeilijk circuit als Adria te debuteren en daarom heb ik me ook geen echt doel gesteld. Ik wil gewoon veel rijden, zoveel mogelijk ervaring opdoen en proberen een zo goed mogelijk resultaat te halen."
