Geen punten te verdienen tijdens Superleague-weekend Beijing

Tijdens de Superleague Formula-races in Beijing zullen geen punten uitgedeeld worden, zo is bekend gemaakt. Het gloednieuwe circuit in China heeft niet de benodigde FIA-licentie gekregen en zodoende mogen er geen punten uitgedeeld worden. Er is wel prijzengeld te winnen.

Het gedeelte tussen Turn 5 en Turn 6 is volgens de FIA te smal en zelfs onder gele vlaggen zou er niet geracet mogen worden. Hierdoor zal het gezien worden als een 'nationale Chinese race' waardoor er geen punten uitgedeeld mogen worden.
