Superleague Formula houdt vast aan hoofdprijs van 1 miljoen euro

De kampioen in de Superleague Formula kan in 2011 wederom 1 miljoen euro tegemoet zien. Dat heeft de organisatie bekend gemaakt. De nummer twee in de eindstand verdient 500.000 euro, de nummer drie krijgt 250.000 euro. De totale prijzenpot voor de Superleague Formula voor 2011 bedraagt 5.110.000 euro, met 280.000 euro te verdelen per raceweekend.

Superleague Formula-directeur Robin Webb: Het is tegenwoordig steeds moeilijker aan het worden voor getalenteerde coureurs om in de eenzitters geld te verdienen, maar de Superleague Formula biedt wel die mogelijkheid. Onze auto's zijn allemaal gelijk, dus de rijders verdienen hun geld op basis van hun eigen prestaties en het harde werk dat ze er met hun teams in stoppen. We hadden dit jaar enkele van de beste professionele coureurs op de grid en met het in stand houden van de prijzenpot rekenen we voor 2011 op het best gevulde veld ooit.

laat maar komen die races...zijn mooi om naar te kijken...luisteren...ruiken en van dichtbij mee te maken voor weinig...geweldig...kan niet wachten tot we weer naar de races toe kunnen...
