Superleague Formula last eerste raceweekenden 2011 af

Het Superleague Formula-seizoen 2011 gaat pas op 4 en 5 juni van start, veel later dan gepland. Oorspronkelijk stond afgelopen weekend het eerste evenement in Monza op het programma en ook het weekend in Portimao op 7 en 8 mei gaat niet door.

Een verklaring voor de afgelaste Superleague Formula-races heeft de organisatie niet afgegeven. De races zijn geruisloos van de kalender gehaald. Gevolg van deze ontwikkelingen is dat het TT-circuit in Assen op 4 en 5 juni gastheer is van de seizoensopening.

    Ik ben inderdaad ook bang dat SF hetzelfde gaat doen als wat A1GP heeft gedaan...
    Voor dit jaar zijn er nog maar 4 teams bevestigd en 1 coureur waarvan het team nog niet bekend is.
    Dus het gaat zekers niet goed met SF, concept was denk ik toch niet zo\'n goed idee.

      Ik vond het allang knap dat het eindelijk plaats vond! Het idee was er al in 1998/9 en de eerste clubs hadden toen al toezeggingen gemaakt, maar er kwam niks van.

      Komt het er eindelijk, valt het na een tijdje plat. Denk dat jij niet de enige bent dus die het niks vind..

      Ik zie gewoon het verband niet met voetbal. Een club die een race wint ipv een coureur. De enige link die er nog zou kunnen zijn is een Nederlandse coureur voor PSV (bijvoorbeeld), maar ook dat gaat niet op. Ik snap dat PSV ook veel buitenlandse voetballers heeft, maar de meeste fans zijn Nederlander en die zien volgens mij liever een NL coureur voor PSV dan iemand uit India.

    Guys, guys altijd hetzelfde liedje ... negatief en nog meer negatief.
    Watch out ... nu vrijdag zal er meer nieuws komen van de teams. Rijders zijn quasi allemaal gekend alleen nog niet kenbaar gemaakt. Kalender is gewijzigd en niet zonder reden, uiteraard om positieve redenen voor organisatie, teams, rijders en ... mondialisering.
    De teams van vorig jaar hebben bevestigd.
    Misschien minder gokken en eerst beter informeren.

      @King: in het artikel staat dat de organisatie geen verklaring heeft gegeven voor het aflasten van de races. Dat is in mijn ogen een slecht teken, want als men een goede reden heeft, dan zou men dat toch wel gelijk hebben gezegd!

      Ik vraag me dan af, wat kan een positieve reden zijn om de eerste twee races af te lasten. Ik kan zo snel niets bedenken!

    @ Beamer. Kijk ik geef enkel correcte info.
    Er zijn een aantal circuits/organisatoren in SF geïnteresseerd doch 12 raceweekends nu bevestigen is onmogelijk. De eerste races die sneuvelen zijn diegene die een kost- zijn en geen profitcenter. Lijkt mij logisch vanuit standpunt van SF-organisatie.
    Assen is in ieder geval 100% zeker de eerste race. Teams hebben trouwens bevestigd en er zijn al een deel rijders die getekend hebben bij de bestaande teams. Waaronder toch een aantal niet onaardige namen ...
    Misschien moet iedereen wel eens het positieve zien en niet meelopen met de kudde :-)

      Het spijt me, er wordt vaker \&quot;bevestigd\&quot; in de zaken- of autosport wereld. Maar als er geen geld is, of een bepaalde partij wordt het niet eens over de betaling (bijv. logistieke kosten), gaat het gewoon niet door...
