RSC Anderlecht trekt Neel Jani aan als nieuwe rijder

Azerti heeft Neel Jani weten te strikken als coureur die dit seizoen de bolide van RSC Anderlecht gaat besturen. Jani wordt hierdoor de opvolger van Davide Rigon, die in 2010 kampioen werd met het Belgische team. Azerti runt ook de bolide van PSV Eindhoven, die bestuurt zal worden door Yelmer Buurman.

Jani, die in het seizoen 2007/2008 de titel in de A1GP pakte met Team Zwitserland, maakte vorig jaar al zijn debuut in de Superleague Formula. Voor Olympiacos pakte hij een vijfde plaats én scoorde zijn eerste overwinning in de Algarve. "Ik ben erg blij dat ik in de Superleague mag rijden voor Azerti. Ik hoop dat ik met succes de titel kan verdedigen die Davie Rigon vorig jaar naar dit team heeft gebracht", aldus Jani.
