Assen zet Superleague Formula-race op de kalender voor 2012

De Superleague Formula leek op sterven na dood, maar de klasse heeft een teken van leven gegeven. Het TT-circuit van Assen is als het goed is op 1 en 2 september gastheer voor een raceweekend van de Superleague Formula.

Het wordt de derde keer dat de Superleague Formula het circuit in Drenthe aandoet. Hoe de rest van de kalender van de serie eruit ziet is zeer onduidelijk. Afgelopen seizoen schrapte de Superleague Formula veel races, wat vraagtekens over het voortbestaan van de klasse opriep.
