Merhi neemt honneurs waar voor Vergne

Roberto Merhi verschijnt in het weekend van 15 en 16 juli namens Manor WEC aan de start van de 6 uur van de Nürburgring. De Spanjaard vervangt Jean-Eric Vergne, die dat weekend verplichtingen heeft in de Formule E. Merhi en Manor zijn geen onbekenden van elkaar, de coureur reed in 2015 veertien Grands Prix voor het gelijknamige Formule 1-team. Hij vormt in de Duitse Eifel een trio met Tor Graves en Jonathan Hirschi.
