Stanaway als een vis in het water op nat Spa-Francorchamps

Richie Stanaway heeft in de eerste training voor de World Series by Renault de snelste tijd laten noteren. Op een nat circuit van Spa-Francorchamps realiseerde hij een 1:59.441. De Nieuw-Zeelander voelt zich thuis op de baan in de Ardennen, vorig jaar won hij tijdens zijn eerste weekend in de GP3 al in België.

Sam Bird, winnaar in Monaco voerde lange tijd de lijst aan, maar in de laatste tien minuten zakte hij twee plaatsen. Naast Stanaway dook ook Alexander Rossi onder zijn tijd door. Robin Frijns eindigde buiten de top tien, op P11. Hij stopte in de slotfase in de eerste sector op de baan. Lucas Foresti van DAMS reed maar zes rondjes door technische mankementen.

Hoop toch dat Robin het morgen beter doet, maar goed dat gaan we live zien @Spa Francorchamps.
En natuurlijk ook Niky niet te vergeten aanmoedigen in de 2.0 klasse :)
