P1 Motorsport contracteert Will Stevens voor 2013

Will Stevens verdedigt volgend seizoen de eer van P1 Motorsport in de World Series by Renault. De 21-jarige Brit debuteerde dit jaar in de Formule Renault 3.5 voor Carlin, verzamelde 59 punten, mede dankzij een podiumplek in Hongarije, en legde beslag op plaats twaalf in de eindstand.

Stevens: "Ik ben heel blij om me voor 2013 bij P1 Motorsport te voegen. Ik heb een aantal keer voor ze getest en ik stond steevast in de voorhoede van de tijdenlijstjes, dus daar put ik vertrouwen uit. De auto ligt me, ik voel me thuis bij het team en onze doelstellingen komen overeen. 2012 was een goed leerjaar en in 2013 wil ik een gooi naar de titel doen."
