Oliver Webb teamgenoot van Vandoorne bij Fortec

Stoffel Vandoorne is op de hoogte van wie volgend jaar zijn teamgenoot is bij Fortec Motorsport. Oliver Webb, een 21-jarige Brit, racet in 2013 aan de zijde van de Belg in de Formule Renault 3.5 van de World Series by Renault. Webb was de afgelopen twee jaar actief in de Amerikaanse Indy Lights-serie.

Eerder in zijn loopbaan kwam hij al voor Fortec uit in de Formule Renault 2.0 en Formule 3. Webb: "Ik kan niet gelukkiger zijn dan met deze hereniging met Fortec. We waren tijdens onze vorige periode samen zeer succesvol. We stonden in contact met teams uit allerlei kampioenschappen, maar toen Fortec zich aandiende was de keuze snel gemaakt. Ik kijk ernaar uit om in een geweldige klasse met een sterke teamgenoot voor de titelhouder te racen, een recept voor succes lijkt me. Wat een Kerst!"
