Team Groot-Brittannie laat Jarvis rijden in Maleisie

Oliver Jarvis is door Team Groot-Brittannië aangewezen om de A1 Grand Prix-races in Maleisië voor zijn rekening te nemen. De 23-jarige coureur reed en won tijdens het openingsweekend in Zandvoort, maar moest voor de races in Brno zijn stoeltje afstaan aan Robbie Kerr.

Kerr reed de afgelopen twee jaar ook de races op het circuit van Sepang, maar voor de editie van 25 november aanstaande heeft Team Groot-Brittannië gekozen voor Jarvis. Ik ben heel blij dat ik mag racen in Maleisië. Sepang is een geweldig circuit en ik genoot er vorig jaar al erg van toen ik er reed tijdens de vrije training voor rookies.

Ik kan niet wachten om weer achter het stuur van de A1 Grand Prix-auto te kruipen en mijn doel is om absoluut weer hoge ogen te gooien, podiumplekken te behalen en misschien wel een racewinst. Hopelijk verlaten we Maleisië met Nieuw-Zeeland en Zuid-Afrika achter ons in het kampioenschap, aldus Jarvis.
