Kerr rijdt laatste twee weekenden voor Groot-Brittannië

Robbie Kerr mag het A1 Grand Prix-seizoen voor Team Groot-Brittannië afsluiten. Het volgende raceweekend in Mexico zit Oliver Jarvis nog in de auto, maar Kerr rijdt de races op de circuits van Sjanghai en Brands Hatch. Vorig jaar won de Engelsman op die banen de sprintraces.

Kerr: Mijn doel is om dit jaar hetzelfde te bereiken, alleen dan gecombineerd met overwinningen in de hoofdraces. Ik verheug me er nu al op om weer aan de slag te gaan voor het Britse publiek, het is een geweldige eer en gevoel om voor je eigen publiek te racen.

Team Groot-Brittannië staat momenteel zesde in het A1 Grand Prix-kampioenschap, met 70 punten, één punt meer dan Team Nederland.
