Races volgend seizoen uitgezonden in HD-kwaliteit

De organisatie van de A1 Grand Prix heeft vandaag bekend gemaakt dat de raceklasse vanaf volgend seizoen uitgezonden zal worden in High Definition (HD). Zenders die niet beschikken over HD-kanalen zullen nog steeds in staat zijn de standaard beelden uit te zenden.

Richard Dorfman, directeur uitzendingen A1GP: "Het is een bijzonder interessante tijd voor de A1 Grand Prix. We hebben voor het nieuwe seizoen een aantal leuke dingen in de pijplijn zitten. We zijn altijd op zoek naar manieren om de beleving van de televisiekijkers nog intenser te maken. Met de A1GP in HD-kwaliteit zullen we voorop lopen in de autosport-uitzendingen."

De A1 Grand Prix wordt wereldwijd uitgezonden in bijna 180 landen. Het is nog niet duidelijk wat de bekendmaking gaat betekenen voor de uitzending van de A1GP op RTL7.
