Team Portugal stelt Albuquerque aan als vaste coureur

Filipe Albuquerque is de komende twee A1 Grand Prix-seizoenen de vaste berijder van de auto van Team Portugal. De 23-jarige coureur debuteerde afgelopen jaargang in Durban en belandde daarbij meteen op het podium. Daarna reed hij nog enkele goede resultaten bij elkaar.

Albuquerque: Ik voel me vereerd met de kans om mijn land te blijven vertegenwoordigen in de A1 Grand Prix. Het is een enorm competitieve serie en ik weet zeker dat het de komende seizoenen naar nog grotere hoogten zal stijgen.

Teambaas Luis Vicente: We voelen ons bevoorrecht met de mogelijkheid om nog twee seizoenen met Filipe te werken. Hij is extreem snel en getalenteerd en gedraagt zich zeer volwassen en professioneel. We gaan er alles aan doen om het kampioenschap te winnen voor Portugal.
