Marc Gene enthousiast over nieuwe A1GP-Ferrari

Ferrari-testrijder Marc Gene heeft getest met de nieuwe A1GP-auto en is enthousiast over de nieuwste Italiaanse creatie voor de klasse. Naar verluidt is de wagen gebaseerd op Ferrari's Formule 1-auto uit 2004, aangedreven door een Ferrari V8.

Gene: "Het is geen Formule 1-auto, maar het zit er niet ver vanaf. Het is een spectaculaire auto om mee te rijden en zal zorgen voor spannende races met inhaalmogelijkheden."

Het testen met de A1GP-Ferrari was voorheen voorbehouden aan Andrea Bertolini, maar ook oud-Minardi-coureur Patrick Friesacher heeft hem al getest. De nieuwe A1GP-Ferrari zal in september zijn eerste race rijden als het nieuwe seizoen van start gaat in Mugello.
