Adam Carroll bevestigd bij Team Ierland

Het A1 Grand Prix-team van Ierland heeft bekend gemaakt dat het opnieuw gebruik gaat maken van de diensten van Adam Carroll. De vijfvoudig GP2-racewinnaar hielp Ierland mede dankzij een overwinning in Mexico-City aan de zesde plek in het kampioenschap.

Carroll: "Ik kijk erg uit naar het nieuwe seizoen en het racen met de nieuwe auto. We hebben een van de sterkste teams in de klasse en na de goede prestatie van afgelopen seizoen hopen we het hele jaar voorin mee te kunnen strijden. We doen mee om te winnen."

Formule 3-coureur Niall Quinn is aangesteld als coureur voor de rookie-tests. Het seizoen gaat aankomend weekeinde van start op Circuit Park Zandvoort.
