Nicolas Prost opgeroepen door Team Frankrijk

Nicolas Prost komt het volgende A1 Grand Prix-weekend in Zuid-Afrika in actie voor Team Frankrijk. De zoon van viervoudig Formule 1-wereldkampioen Alain Prost was al vaste rookie-coureur bij het team en reed in Chengdu al een race. Vaste racecoureur Loic Duval heeft andere verplichtingen en dus racet Prost op Kyalami.

Na de zeer positieve ervaringen uit China, heeft het team opnieuw vertrouwen in mij gesteld. Daar ben ik heel blij mee. Het toont aan dat ze tevreden zijn met mijn werk. Mijn doel voor Kyalami is om meteen snel te zijn en het hele weekend vooraan mee te doen, aldus Nicolas Prost.

Teambaas Olivier Panis: Nicolas voelt zich helemaal op zijn gemak bij ons team. Hij is goed voorbereid op deze uitdaging, na een seizoen als testrijder bij Team Frankrijk en een race een paar maanden geleden. We hebben al een manier gevonden om efficiënt met elkaar te werken en we hebben veel vertrouwen in elkaar.
