Team Pakistan wil in Portugal terugkeren

Team Pakistan wil bij de volgende ronde van de A1 Grand Prix weer op de grid staan. De renstal kwam dit seizoen nog niet in actie, maar hoopt op 12 april in Portugal weer van de partij te zijn. Team Pakistan testte al in Zuid-Afrika en seatholder en coureur Adam Khan heeft er goede hoop in.

Het heeft even geduurd, maar eindelijk heb ik een auto waar ik veilig in pas en goed in kan zitten. Het is het wachten wel waard geweest. Ik heb enorm genoten van het gedrag van de nieuwe Ferrari-bolide. Mijn vertrouwen nam steeds meer toe. Alles verliep soepel, de betrouwbaarheid is goed en daardoor konden we ons richten op het ontwikkelen van de snelheid.

Jammer genoeg liggen we ver achter op de andere teams, die al vijf raceweekenden achter de rug hebben. Daardoor hebben ze genoeg tijd gekregen om de complexiteit van de wagen te doorgronden. We kozen er voor om niet in Zuid-Afrika te racen, maar bij de volgende ronde in Portugal doen we weer mee, aldus Khan.
