Vitantonio Liuzzi debuteert in Algarve voor Team Italië

Vitantonio Liuzzi maakt komend weekend zijn A1 Grand Prix-debuut voor Team Italië. De reserverijder van Force India neemt in ieder geval het weekend in de Algarve voor zijn rekening en waarschijnlijk ook het evenement op Brands Hatch.

Liuzzi wil graag weer raceritme opdoen. Ik kijk echt uit naar mijn eerste kennismaking met de A1 Grand Prix-auto en weer lekker racen, wat ik toch het liefste doe. Het doet me goed dat Vijah Mallya en Force India me toestemming geven om deze races te rijden en de adrenaline weer te ervaren.

A1 Grand Prix-directeur Pete da Silva: Dit is geweldig nieuws voor onze serie. Zijn reputatie gaat hem vooraf en ik ben verheugd dat een rijder van zijn kaliber graag aan de A1 Grand Prix wil meedoen en de eer van zijn land wil verdedigen.
