Team Ierland wint twee keer en pakt titel

Team Ierland eiste afgelopen weekend de A1 Grand Prix-titel voor zich op. Tijdens het slotweekend op het circuit van Brands Hatch domineerde Adam Carroll en hij won twee maal. Daardoor nam Team Ierland de eerste plek over van Team Zwitserland en kroonde het zichzelf tot kampioen.

Jeroen Bleekemolen hield voor Team Nederland de eer hoog op Brands Hatch. Hij sloot de sprintrace af als zesde en eindigde in de hoofdrace als tweede. Door die resultaten kwam Team Nederland op een puntentotaal van 75 punten, goed voor een vierde positie in de eindstand.
