Team Nederland favoriete team, Doornbos beste rookie

Team Nederland is tijdens de uitreiking van de jaarlijkse A1 Grand Prix-awards in de prijzen gevallen. De lezers van a1gp.com verkozen de renstal van Jan Lammers tot favoriete team en Robert Doornbos kwam als beste rookie uit de bus.

De reactie van Lammers op de awards: Het is een hele eer dat de fans ons zo waarderen. Daar gaat het uiteindelijk om, dat de mensen ons volgen en over ons lezen. Hoe groter die aantallen, hoe meer we sponsors te bieden hebben. Daarom zijn we trots op deze prijs en we zijn onze fans zeer dankbaar. We hopen ze nog meer te bieden in de toekomst.

Het staat buiten kijf dat Robert Doornbos een geweldige coureur en een groot talent is. Hij heeft absoluut bijgedragen aan de sfeer binnen het team en pushte iedereen, inclusief Jeroen Bleekemolen, tot het uiterste. Hij verdient deze award en we zijn trots op wat hij voor ons team heeft gedaan.
