Junqueira gaat door voor Brazilie

Bruno Junqueira staat bij de A1 Grand Prix-race in Mexico aan de start voor het team van Brazilië. De 30-jarige coureur maakte in Zuid-Afrika zijn debuut en werd daarin zevende in de hoofdrace. Junqueira: Onze snelheid was redelijk goed in Zuid-Afrika en ik hoop dat we ons nog kunnen verbeteren. Ik ben in ieder geval blij om bij het team te blijven en met de kans om op een voor mij bekend circuit te mogen rijden.

De Braziliaan heeft dan ook hoge verwachtingen voor de race op 25 maart. Ik denk dat het podium mogelijk is. Ik weet zeker dat we daar competitief zullen zijn en ik kijk er dan ook erg naar uit om weer te gaan racen.

Teambaas Emerson Fittipaldi doet mee aan de hoge verwachtingen. De tweevoudig wereldkampioen doet er zelfs nog een schepje bovenop. Ik ben blij dat Bruno ook in Mexico voor ons zal rijden. Ik denk zelfs dat we naar Mexico afreizen met een hele goede kans om de race daar te winnen.
