Yoong wil Maleisie aan titel helpen

Alex Yoong was de afgelopen twee jaar al de vaste coureur van Team Maleisie in de A1 Grand Prix en plakt daar komend seizoen weer een jaar aan vast. De voormalig Formule 1-coureur vindt dat het tijd is geworden om voor de titel mee te doen. Na een vijfde plaats in het eerste jaar en een zesde stek in het tweede seizoen is het kampioenschap het doel voor jaar drie.

Yoong: Het afgelopen seizoen hebben we in de laatste race een plek verloren waardoor we lager eindigden dan vorig jaar, maar we mogen toch best tevreden zijn. Het was een redelijk goed jaar en de drie overwinningen waren absolute hoogtepunten. Wij zijn eigenlijk heel snel, alleen moeten we nu constanter worden.

Maar we kunnen zeker de hoop koesteren om volgend jaar het kampioenschap op te eisen. Het enige dat we daarvoor hoeven te doen is onze winnende vorm langer vast te houden.
