Forsythe kiest voor Servia en Tracy

Oriol Servia krijgt de kans van Forsythe om zich te bewijzen. De Spanjaard verving in de tweede race de aan zijn rug geblesseerde Paul Tracy en deed dat zo goed dat hij de plaats van Mario Dominguez in de tweede auto van het team mag overnemen. De eerste auto van Forsythe zal bij de volgende race in Portland zo goed als zeker weer door Tracy bemand worden.

Servia: Dit is een geweldige kans voor mij. Ik wil Jerry Forsythe en het gehele team bedanken dat ze mij de mogelijkheid geven om deze auto te mogen besturen.

De Spanjaard pakte in de twee races die hij inviel 51 punten en reed in Long Beach naar een knappe tweede plek. Tracy staat door zijn afwezigheid in de laatste twee races pas op 26 punten. De Canadees is wel weer fit en zal later deze week terugkeren in de auto bij een test op het circuit van Mont Tremblant, waar op 1 juli voor het eerst een Champ Car-race verreden zal worden.
