Bourdais neemt ook deel aan Race of Champions

Sebastien Bourdais heeft zijn deelname aan de Race of Champions bevestigd. De drievoudig Champ Car-kampioen zal het aan het einde van het jaar in het Wembley-stadion opnemen tegen diverse andere kampioenen in gelijkwaardige autos. Het evenement was de voorgaande jaren een doorslaand succes, al werd het toen nog gehouden in het Stade de France in Parijs.

Bourdais nam al drie keer eerder deel aan de Race of Champions. Voor de editie van dit jaar zijn weer heel wat grote namen vastgelegd. Zo zal de Fransman het onder andere opnemen tegen zevenvoudig wereldkampioen Michael Schumacher, Grand Prix-winnaars David Coulthard en Jenson Button, World Touring Car Championship-kampioen Andy Priaulx en rallykampioen Colin McRae. Het evenement zal op 16 december plaatsvinden.

Bourdais: Ik ben heel blij om weer aan de Race of Champions deel te mogen nemen en de eer van mijn land te verdedigen. Het si altijd een eer om een uitnodiging te krijgen, dit wordt alweer mijn vierde deelname en het is een evenement waar ik altijd van geniet.
