Trust-voorman wil team opkopen

Trust-directeur Michel Perridon, bekend van zijn sponsoring in de Formule 1 bij Minardi, Jordan, Midland en Spyker, heeft vanmiddag bekend gemaakt dat hij graag een eigen team zou bezitten. De eigenaar van het Nederlandse bedrijf sponsort momenteel Robert Doornbos in de Champ Car World Series.

Michel Perridon: "Om eerlijk te zijn ben ik op zoek naar een team. Niet alleen sponsoring, maar ik wil echt bezig zijn met winnen. Ik wil me veel meer met een team bezig houden." Hiermee suggereert de Trust-voorman dat hij interesse heeft in het opkopen van een team. Volgens de berichten zou Perridon ver in gesprek zijn met het team van Conquest Racing.
