Mortara snelste in laatste vrije training Hockenheim

Edoardo Mortara heeft vanochtend de snelste tijd neergezet tijdens de laatste vrije training op Hockenheim. In zijn Audi reed de Italiaan een 1:32.672 waarmee hij een tiende sneller was dan teamgenoot Jamie Green.

Audi beleefde überhaupt een goede trainingssessie, aangezien zes wagens van het merk in de top negen te vinden waren. Tom Blomqvist was de snelste BMW met de derde positie.

Regerend kampioen Marco Wittman finishte op de zesde positie, terwijl Pascal Wehrlein (8), Paul di Resta (11) en Daniel Juncadella (13) in het middenveld te vinden waren. Oud Formule 1-coureur Timo Glock eindigde na een spin op de 22ste positie.

Om 12 uur vanmiddag is de kwalificatie voor de seizoensopener in de DTM. De eerste race wordt later vanmiddag gehouden om 14:30. Morgen vinden de kwalificatie voor de tweede race én de tweede race zelf plaats.
