Audi bevestigt Mortara, Albuquerque en Frey voor 2011

Audi zal komend seizoen met drie nieuwe coureurs aan de start staan in de DTM, zo werd vandaag duidelijk. Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich bevestigde vandaag Edoardo Mortara, Filipe Albuquerque en de vrouwelijke Rahel Frey voor 2011.

Mortara is de regerende Formule 3 Euroseries-kampioen en wist tweemaal de Macau Grand Prix op zijn nama te schrijven. Hij zal samen met Albuquerque, voormalig testrijder van Red Bull en Toro Rosso in de Formule 1 en A1GP-coureur, racen voor Audi Sport Team Rosberg. Rahel Frey, een Zwitserse van 25 jaar, zal samen met Martin Tomczyk voor Audi Sport Team Phoenix rijden.

Naast deze drie nieuwe coureurs blijven Mike Rockenfeller, Mattias Ekstrom, Timo Scheider, Oliver Jarvis, Martin Tomczyk en Miguel Molina aan als Audi-coureurs voor 2011.
