Rosberg acht Alonso niet in staat om te schitteren in Barcelona

Williams-coureur Nico Rosberg denkt niet dat Renault-rijder Fernando Alonso komend weekend bij de Grand Prix van Spanje een glansrol voor zich op zal eisen. De auto van Renault heeft een flinke update gehad en teambaas Flavio Briatore spreekt zelfs over podiumplekken en het niveau van BMW Sauber. Rosberg acht dat onwaarschijnlijk, Renault en Alonso horen ook dit weekend tot de middenmoot.

Er zijn op dit moment drie topteams en die zijn voor de rest uit het zicht. En daarna komt de grote middengroep, waarbij Alonso in één van de langzaamste autos van die groep rijdt. Hij kan alleen meedoen in het gevecht om de laatste punten. Ik denk dat wij van Williams er beter voor staan dan Renault, aldus Nico Rosberg.
