Alonso over Kubica als teamgenoot: "Waarom niet?"

De geruchten dat Fernando Alonso volgend jaar bij BMW Sauber instapt worden steeds hardnekkiger en de Spanjaard doet niets om daar de aandacht van af te leiden. In Monza antwoordde hij op de vraag of hij Robert Kubica als teamgenoot zou willen hebben: Waarom niet?

Alonso en Kubica kunnen goed met elkaar overweg, zo verklaarde de tweevoudig wereldkampioen tegenover het Duitse persagentschap SID. Robert en ik hebben samen in de karts gereden. Hij is een heel goede vriend van me.

Nu rijdt Alonso nog voor Renault. Hij beslist in de nabije toekomst welke kleuren hij in 2009 verdedigt. Ik neem in de komende weken een besluit, mogelijk al in september, wat ik volgend jaar ga doen.
