Senna: "Alonso houdt de transfermarkt op slot"

Bruno Senna hoopt nog altijd op een racecontract bij een Formule 1-team voor 2009. De Braziliaan zou in beeld zijn bij Scuderia Toro Rosso en Honda. Alleen wacht dat laatstgenoemde team op de beslissing van Renault-rijder Fernando Alonso. Senna: Ze wachten af op wat Fernando gaat doen en daarmee blokkeert hij de transfermarkt.

Desondanks schat het neefje van de legendarische Ayrton Senna zijn kansen hoog in. In een interview met Motorsport-Total.com zegt hij: Ik sta er niet slecht voor. We praten met meerdere teams. Er bestaan kansen op een racestoeltje, maar de mogelijkheden op een testzitje zijn talrijker. Alleen is de positie van testrijder met de huidige reglementen niet heel interessant. Maar misschien valt het te combineren met nog een jaar in de GP2. Als ik in die klasse actief blijf, dan is dat zeker bij iSport International.
