Fans vinden Kubica en Heidfeld juiste duo voor BMW Sauber

Het team van BMW Sauber doet er goed aan door ook volgend jaar aan de start te verschijnen met Robert Kubica en Nick Heidfeld. Dat is de uitkomst van een poll van F1Today.nl, waar ongeveer tweeduizend stemmen op uitgebracht werden. Van die stemmen was 62 procent het eens met de stelling dat BMW Sauber de juiste beslissing heeft genomen om met Heidfeld en Kubica door te gaan.

Vooral de positie van Heidfeld stond lange tijd onder druk. BMW Sauber bevestigde zelfs gesprekken met Renault-rijder Fernando Alonso, maar koos toch voor contractverlenging van Heidfeld. De Duitser scoorde dit seizoen tot nu toe 56 punten, maar delft met name in de kwalificatie het onderspit tegen Kubica. In Fuji kwam Heidfeld ondanks de verlenging van zijn verbintenis niet door het eerste kwalificatiedeel heen. Zijn racekwaliteiten maken dat volgens BMW Sauber meer dan goed, waardoor hij ook in 2009 voor dat team uitkomt.

Deze week gaat de poll over alle straffen en controversiële beslissingen die dit jaar een rol spelen in het kampioenschap. Nu eens niet over de vraag of de straffen terecht zijn, maar wat de gevolgen zijn voor het kampioenschap. Heeft de titelstrijd aan glans verloren door de keuzes van de racestewards? Wat is een kampioenschap waarin de uiteindelijke kampioen in achttien races niet verder komt dan maximaal 104 punten waard? Laat het weten op F1Today.nl.

Vraag is ook, wat zou het alternatief zijn? Wie zou de plek van Heidfeld over moeten (kunnen) nemen.

Dat zou inderdaad een veel leukere poll geweest zijn.

En mbt de poll van deze week: Waarom zeuren dat de glans er vanaf is? Als het je niet bevalt, kun je toch ook gewoon op zondag middag een wandeling in het bos maken met je vrouw/vriendin.

Volgend jaar is BMW denk ik de helft nog zo sterk niet. En dat weten ze zelf ook. Heidfeld tja is te min voor BMW duidelijk maar Kubica verdiend het wel om naar Mclaren te gaan ipc stuntel fin kovalainen
