Massa voelt geen extra druk nu ontknoping nadert

Ferrari-coureur Felipe Massa voelt geen extra spanning nu de titelstrijd in de laatste twee races beslist gaat worden en hij daar een belangrijke rol in speelt. Het is de eerste keer dat de Braziliaan zo vlak voor het einde van het seizoen nog kans heeft op het kampioenschap, maar hij blijft er vrij nuchter onder.

Massa: Ik denk dat je altijd wel druk hebt. Als Ferrari-coureur sta je aan het begin, halverwege en aan het einde van het seizoen onder druk, ongeacht de positie waarin je verkeert. Het is anders, maar er is altijd druk. Daar leer je mee omgaan, om alles om je heen te vergeten en alleen te denken aan het uitvoeren van je eigen taken.

Ik voel me vrij goed. Ik ben in de positie om mijn werk zo goed mogelijk te verrichten. Hopelijk doen we dat op de juiste manier en bereiken we wat we willen. Dat is de manier waarop ik er op dit moment over denk. Zo dacht ik er de vorige Grand Prix ook over, net als alle voorgaande races en dat zal ook de komende Grands Prix zo blijven.
