Vettel: "Je kan iemand als Alonso niet kopiëren"

Sebastian Vettel is op weg naar een gouden toekomst in de Formule 1. De jongeling won afgelopen seizoen in Monza voor Scuderia Toro Rosso een Grand Prix en maakt nu de overstap naar Red Bull Racing. Maar van vergelijkingen met meervoudig kampioenen Fernando Alonso en Michael Schumacher moet hij niets hebben.

Vettel vertelde aan de Spaanse krant El Pais: Men kan iemand als Alonso of Schumacher niet kopiëren. Fernando zal altijd Fernando blijven. En als er dan een nieuweling langskomt, dan zal dat absoluut geen nieuwe Alonso zijn. Iedereen bewandelt zijn eigen weg en maakt zijn eigen keuzes. Daarom is iedereen uniek en heeft dat vergelijken geen zin.
