Grieperige Raikkonen vertrekt voortijdig van Ferrari-evenement

Coureur Kimi Raikkonen heeft het jaarlijkse Ferrari-feestje in Madonna di Campiglio voortijdig moeten verlaten. De Finse ex-wereldkampioen voelde zich vrijdag al niet lekker en heeft naar alle waarschijnlijkheid een klein griepje en een keelontsteking te pakken. Om goed uit te rusten is hij teruggekeerd naar zijn huis in Zwitserland, waar hij een weekend rust neemt.

In principe lijkt Raikkonen wel op tijd weer helemaal fit om de nieuwe Ferrari F60 komende week voor het eerst aan een uitgebreide test te onderwerpen. Nu de test op het Algarve-circuit in Portugal door Ferrari overslaat, zal het team op Mugello in actie komen. Raikkonen en collega Felipe Massa zullen ieder twee volle dagen testen in de nieuwe 2009-bolide.
