Weber zou overstap Alonso naar Ferrari logisch vinden

Elke week doemen wel geruchten op dat Renault-coureur Fernando Alonso de overstap naar Ferrari maakt. Willi Weber, die de belangen behartigde van Michael Schumacher en zich tegenwoordig bezighoudt met de loopbaan van Nico Hülkenberg, staat daar niet van te kijken.

Tegenover het Duitse Sport Bild verklaarde hij: Ik weet niet zeker hoe de vork in de steel zit, maar het zou een logische stap voor beide partijen zijn. Fernando Alonso is de beste coureur ter wereld van het moment. Als ik invloed had bij Ferrari, dan zou ik hem meteen een contract aanbieden. Ik vermoed dat men bij Ferrari op dezelfde manier redeneert.
