Red Bull Racing met David Coulthard naar Bavaria City Racing

De organisatie voor Bavaria City Racing heeft een tweede grote naam voor de editie van 16 augustus bekend gemaakt. Red Bull Racing geeft acte de présence in de straten van Rotterdam en achter het stuur kruipt oud Formule 1-coureur en meervoudig Grand Prix-winnaar David Coulthard. Renault en Fernando Alonso zegden eerder al hun komst toe.

Coulthard verheugt zich op het evenement. Ik ben net terug uit Moskou waar ik een paar demonstraties tijdens Bavaria Moscow City Racing heb mogen geven. Ik heb begrepen dat het in Rotterdam nog drukker is dan in Moskou en kijk ernaar uit om mijn rondjes te rijden door het centrum van Rotterdam.

Herman Vaanholt, organisator van Bavaria City Racing, is blij dat op het affiche van de vijfde editie van het evenement iconen als Alonso en Coulthard prijken. We willen het publiek natuurlijk vermaken met de grote namen. Maar daarnaast zegt het ook wat over de kwaliteit van Bavaria City Racing dat deze helden tijd vrij maken om er in Rotterdam bij te zijn.
