Operatie aan schedel Massa succesvol verlopen

Felipe Massa heeft gisteren in het Albert Einstein-ziekenhuis in Sao Paulo met succes plastische chirurgie ondergaan. De Ferrari-coureur lag ruim vierenhalf uur op de operatietafel voor een operatie aan zijn schedel.

Massa raakte in de kwalificatie voor de Grand Prix van Hongarije gewond toen een veer van een andere auto hem vol op zijn helm raakte. Na de geslaagde operatie kan hij binnenkort beginnen met lichte trainingsvormen met als uiteindelijke doel een rentree op de grid. Ferrari verwacht hem pas in 2010 terug en stelde Giancarlo Fisichella aan voor de rest van dit seizoen.
