Oostenrijkse investeringsmaatschappij koopt aandelen in Williams

Frank Williams en Patrick Head zijn niet langer de enige eigenaren van het Formule 1-team van Williams. Een Oostenrijkse investeringsmaatschappij heeft een deel van de aandelen overgenomen. Om welk percentage van de aandelen het gaat is niet bekend.

De Oostenrijkse investeringsmaatschappij wordt geleid door Toto Wolff, die een plek in het bestuur van Williams Grand Prix Engineering krijgt. Wolff is naast zakenman ook parttime coureur en was de afgelopen jaren actief in het FIA GT-kampioenschap en het Oostenrijks rallykampioenschap.
