Manager Hülkenberg met zijn hoofd al bij Ferrari-toekomst

Williams-coureur Nico Hülkenberg rijdt binnen drie jaar voor het team van Ferrari. Dat stelt zijn zaakwaarnemer Willi Weber in de Finse krant Turun Sanomat. Hülkenberg debuteert dit jaar in de Formule 1 en won vorig jaar de GP2-titel.

Weber behartigt ook de belangen van Michael Schumacher en die won vijf wereldtitels in dienst van Ferrari. Als het aan Weber ligt bewandelt Hülkenberg dezelfde route. “Binnen drie jaar zal Ferrari Nico hebben.”

    Als ik die kerel zo hoor (ook in eerdere uitspraken) dan moet die Hülkenberg toch wel een waanzinnig goede coureur zijn. Fijne manager heb je dan. Verhoogt lekker de prestatiedruk voor dat manneke in zijn debuutjaar.

    Hülkenberg heeft 2 jaar geleden de A1GP met 1 vinger in de neus gewonnen, vorig jaar met overmacht de GP2 op zijn naam gezet.
    Het is een kwestie van tijd dat hij bij Ferrari (of ander topteam) komt te rijden.

    Aangezien zijn manager warme banden heeft met Ferrari is de gedachte echt zo gek nog niet.

    Hij kan misschien wel voor de verrassing gaan zorgen dit jaar. Als die Cosworth meevalt, zou Williams misschien wel eens kunnen verrassen.

    Hulkenberg is wel iemand die eerst even een paar maanden warm moet draaien. Als hij dan eenmaal op gang kwam dan ging hij wel als een raket.

    Blijft toch altijd afwachten of iemand ook in de F1 kan meekomen, maar hij heeft de laatste paar klasses waar hij reed steeds overtuigend gewonnen.

    Hulkenberg gaat echt nog wel een paar bolides afschrijven dit jaar, vergelijk hem maar een beetje met Rosberg in zijn eerste volledige F1 seizoen.
    Maar ik heb wel hoop dat Hulkenberg een hele goeie gaat worden.
    Of hij uiteindelijk bij Ferrari terecht komt valt nog te bezien, er rijden meer toppers in de formule 1 en de stoeltjes zijn schaars in de top.
    Laat hem eerst maar wat mooie dingen doen in de Williams dit jaar.

    Weber hoopt natuurlijk van wel, hij moet zijn portemonee tenslotte ook blijven vullen.
    Is Weber eigenlijk ook nog steeds de manager van Schumacher?

      Er was laatst een bericht dat Weber nog wel de manager is van Schumacher, maar dat Schumacher zelf de deal met Mercedes had afgesloten.
