Staande ovatie voor Magnussen na toespraak in Woking

Kevin Magnussen heeft de manschappen van McLaren toegesproken in de fabriek in Woking. Zijn woorden raakten de juiste snaar bij het personeel van de Britse renstal, want de jonge Deen kreeg een staande ovatie, lieten bronnen aan Pitpass.com weten.

Magnussen bemachtigde in Oostenrijk een zesde plaats, zijn beste klassering sinds zijn podiumplek bij de seizoensopener in Australië. "Hoewel we nog niet winnen, is het toch een droom die uitkomt om te racen voor McLaren. Ik wil iedereen bedanken voor het hartelijke welkom dat jullie me gegeven hebben. Ik beloof dat ik net als jullie keihard zal blijven werken om McLaren terug naar de voorhoede te helpen", betoogde de regerend World Series by Renault-kampioen."
