Raikkonen krijgt nieuwe race-engineer voor 2015

Het team van Ferrari is van plan om Kimi Raikkonen voor volgend jaar te koppelen aan een andere race-engineer. De Scuderia nam David Greenwood over van het failliete Marussia en hij lost Antonio Spagnolo waarschijnlijk af als engineer van de Fin, zo meldt Autosport.

Spagnolo vervolgt zijn werkzaamheden voor Ferrari vanuit de fabriek in Maranello. Van Raikkonen is bekend dat hij goed kan opschieten met Britse engineers. Om de communicatie tussen de Fin en zijn engineers te verbeteren schakelde Ferrari dit jaar al de hulp van David Llloyd in.

Ricardo Adami is de race-engineer voor nieuwe aanwinst Sebastian Vettel. De twee werkten in 2008 al met elkaar samen bij Scuderia Toro Rosso. Andrea Stella volgt Fernando Alonso naar McLaren, in eerste instantie als race-engineer en later met een bredere rol in het technisch kader.
