Nico Hülkenberg erg blij met beste kwalificatie ooit

Nico Hülkenberg kan terugkijken op een zeer geslaagde kwalificatie in Maleisië. De Duitse debutant reed in zijn Williams, in zeer moeilijke omstandigheden, naar een knappe vijfde plaats. Hiermee staat Hülkenberg zelfs nog voor ervaren teamgenoot Rubens Barrichello.

"Ik ben natuurlijk heel erg tevreden, maar het zit nog behoorlijk dicht bij elkaar. Ik denk dat ik misschien nog wat verder naar voren had kunnen staan", vertelde Hülkenberg tegen de BBC. "Het was een compleet foutloze ronde, maar het zijn toch al moeilijke omstandigheden. Ik ben erg blij met deze positie, ook voor het team."
